Brand Identity Re-Design

The objective here was to take an already existing coffee shop, namely Songbird Coffee and Tea House, and create an interesting and effective UI/UX re-brand. This required in depth research and a new logo design and packaging design

Logo Design

For this logo design, it was important to me to truly represent the nature of who Songbird is. The choice of color palette and typography were a play off of one another, creating a new and vibrant logo design for a unique and exciting establishment.

Logo Design Color Palette

The choice of color palette, specifically the yellow and shade of red/orange, tie into the landscapes of nature throughout Songbird’s home state of Arizona. The decision to incorporate the blue was due to the blue that can be found on some Songbird’s feathers.

Logo Design Typography

The simplicity of these type faces, while also contrasting styles, worked well with my desire to have a much more light and airy feel. The Dream Orphans font paired with the motion of notes on a sheet of music truly captured the intended purpose.

Product and Packaging Design

To truly see how well this rebrand worked across multiple different mediums I needed to implement it through merchandise such as coffee mugs, cups and Keurig products.
